Across the Bay
I love the fact that a short stroll across the park in front of our home brings us to the edge of a cliff, and a sweeping panoramic view of Algoa Bay.....

Nice work, Sue and very interesting, working with foil on the canvas! Is it experimental - a new direction?
Hi Bev, thanks. I have been using metallic foils on my canvases for several years already, in various guises, i like the surprise glint it brings and suggestion of treasure, something of value....
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
Pablo Picasso (1881 - 1973)
Words by Sandy Carlson which express perfectly how I experience colour in my art.....
Colors that bleed don't, actually, But might if they were living things. Rather, they go outside the lines On purpose or by accident Creating an effect you may not have hoped for When you placed them there Or when you showed up to watch: Sharp clarity, a gentle blurring, a mess? It is what it is. Colors bleed.
